Wireless Network Design for Military Ranges |

lcdc, in support of a large defense contractor, is providing the engineering of a mobile wireless network that connects instrumented units at multiple ranges to a central data analysis and control center. The network provides wireless IP transmission of operational data from manned military vehicles to a mobile or fixed tower at each range. Long-haul backbone radio links enable communication with the remote analysis and control center, where the instrumentation data is combined with other live, virtual, and constructive data in a real-time training environment. |
